Weekend Meal Drive
The challenge
No Child Should Dread The Weekend
School lunches carry many children through the week — then Friday comes. Our weekend meal drive fills that gap with grocery boxes and hot Saturday meals for more than 400 local families.
Each box is packed by volunteers on Friday night and delivered Saturday morning, with fresh produce bought from Maine farms and warm dishes from our partner kitchens.
Inside every family box
- Fresh fruit, vegetables, milk, eggs, and bread for the weekend.
- Two hearty ready-to-heat family dinners from local kitchens.
- Kid-friendly snacks and breakfast staples for school mornings.
